The food and the staff were okay, very nice, harmonious atmosphere. The men's room stank extremely.

Almost thirty years ago I moved from the Isar to the Main and since then I have been going to the Middle Rhine Valley several times a year to go hiking or just to enjoy a few relaxing hours. For roughly the same length of time, I keep stopping at the wine cellar in Rüdesheim, as I've made the experience that the service and taste are right despite the hustle and bustle that sometimes prevails here. So far there have never been any major complaints and I have always been treated in a friendly manner. The fact that so many waitresses have been working here for years also speaks in favor of the winery, in my opinion. I always like to come back and can absolutely recommend a visit.

Good service, delicious food at a fair price - what more could you want? The Käsespätzle are powerful as they should be with roasted onions and parsley and the Rüdesheimer coffee is wonderfully celebrated.

Location is good, but food is at best average for moderate prices.

The kitchen is definitely not recommended! Only red wine was good!

Unfortunately no vegan options. Besides salad, you only have spaetzle as a vegetarian option. One expects a little more in 2020. But my friends liked the food.

Waiters ran past empty glasses several times, had to call her. Wiping the tables was not practiced while we were there. Sitting on the terrace was very pleasant.

Saturday evening 22.08. Impeccably dedicated service, delicious food: Tarte flambée & salad & double burger & black beer. There's nothing to complain about !! Our "tip": take the last table in front of the toy factory, then you will not have so much hustle and bustle, but you will have an eye on the whole stream of tourists who make the most impossible contortions around the Drosselgasse. It's funny ??

We have known the shop for a long time, unfortunately it is getting worse and worse. During the last visit the barrel was overflowed. Criticism was completely rejected by the boss, the food and portions are getting smaller and smaller and the quality of the food has deteriorated. It's a shame that such a shop is being ruined by an incompetent boss.

Very impolite. The last visit was very cheeky in front of children. The food was not good either. Is not recommended.

Nothing special, unfortunately. Food OK but no more than that and you want that when you are on vacation. Very quickly the food on the table so quickly ready and away again.

In the morning we wanted to have a cup of coffee with cake after visiting the music cabinet. The waiter was not very friendly and did not seem very enthusiastic if we only had coffee and cake. He ran away and said he would come back. He also turned his eyes to an allergenic question. Salad was very basic and not worth the money. Coffee was served without a biscuit. You cannot pay with a bank card, only cash. Not worth a visit, there are plenty of other nice places to spend your money on.

Too bad the five stars just missed. Out of 8 ordered dishes, 7 were fully to our taste, only the hunter schnitzel had been delivered with ready-made sauce and completely over-seasoned fries. The extremely friendly service pointed out that an alternative would have been offered if the complaint were made immediately.

Consistently very friendly. Cozy terrace, you look at Drosselgasse, but you have enough distance to the hustle and bustle. Very tasty dishes!

My husband had a giant burger and I had a super delicious salad. Landlord is super nice. Clean place. You can absolutely recommend you

The best bratwurst on the Rüdesheimer Christmas market. We have been coming for years and always eat here. Brutal delicious. Update: We had decided to eat here even in summer. Today was the day. Despite Saturday bustle the service staff very friendly and ... the five stars stay. The chicken breast curry and the schnitzel could convince and were delicious. Perfect.

The pork knuckle was unfortunately quite hard. Filled with bitterness, he added blunt knives that made cutting difficult. Only beer defended itself. Dear Mrs. Domagała. The picture shows the shredded and hard skin of pork knuckle. I think that you get to know your dishes after the pictures. We were in 4 people on 29/03/2019. You must always accept criticism with humility. Besides, it was OK.

Service is super, food is ok. It is very touristic place. That is why do not expect an exquisite food.

Stopped in for a coffee and strudel while waiting to return to our ship. Very good strudel. Two star rating is because the waiter was rude to an elderly travel companion who, part way through our coffee, we asked to join us to shelter her from the rain and cold. She didn't want anything to eat or drink so the waiter told her this was "not an area for waiting". The café was not busy at the time.

Great setting and friendly service.

Not bad. Plenty of food, just not the right order. Then to argue with us about what we ordered and walk away. Better restaurants in the area. Save this for kuchen and kaffee during the off peak season.

I had the sauerbraten, which was pretty average all-in-all. The waitstaff was friendly and very helpful though with an added bonus of being a near perfect summer night without being overly busy like I remember it being here years ago.

The meal was ok, the local wines were good, there is a nice play corner for small kids.

Food is okay, drinks are okay too. Nice place.
